About SmartVote
SmartVote is a campaign supported by different voluntary organisations and citizens. SmartVote has no political affiliations. SmartVote was created to encourage citizens to vote and to provide information regarding candidates standing for elections at various levels, enabling citizens to make an informed choice.
Smartvote has engaged in voter registration, improving electoral rolls, candidate profiling and conducting candidate debates at constituency/ward levels during the 2009 Lok Sabhba and 2010 BBMP elections.
