Bangalore voter turnout up by10%. Average turnout across Bangalore was measured at 57%.
If we eliminate the duplicate entries and migrant population who moved away, the voter turnout can be measured in mid to high 60%
Let us now work towards eliminating the last 14% gap and exceed the state average the next time around.

SmartVote was created to encourage citizens to vote and to provide information regarding candidates standing for elections at various levels, enabling citizens to make an informed choice.
SmartVote has no political affiliations.
Smartvote has engaged in voter registration, improving electoral rolls, candidate profiling and conducting candidate debates at constituency/ward levels during the 2009 Lok Sabhba and 2010 BBMP elections.
Smartvote was involved in voter registration efforts for the MLC elections (Graduate Constituency) 2012 (check MLC Elections details.).
Smartvote is currently conducting a voter registration drive for registering a million voters in Bangalore.
